I bought this watch in a store without even noticing that it was a men's watch, because it looked so good on my wrist! After realizing that it was available at 2/3rd the price on Amazon, I returned it to the store and purchased one on Amazon.
It has a big dial without being chunky because of the slim width. The seconds hand is a necessity for me. It looks very nice with work clothes and even with a dressy casual outfit. I've had no issues with timekeeping and the battery is working four months in. I'm not very careful with my watches, and so far it seems to be pretty scratch resistant.

i have been thinking i wanted this watch for months, but it was unavailable. finally i got the opportunity to purchase it, and did. the price is more than i usually pay for watches, but i just couldn't find another white watch that i liked this much. one thing on this face that is always important to me in a watch is the date. aside from that though, it's just plain beautiful. it's large, which i love, light because the bracelet is plastic, but it looks like a million bucks! this is my first Toy watch, but it definately won't be my last.

This watch came in time although it wasn't a rush shipment. It was packaged very well and just as I expected. My boyfriend loved it and wears it all the time (the glare on the dial makes it a little difficult to read the time without tilting it away from the light at times, but other than that it is a great looking watch with a nice feel and weight to it).

This is a great watch that feels and looks better than the pictures indicate (the 3rd dimension really helps the look of this watch). I would not have purchased it based on the picture alone. It's large without being too big or heavy. I've had 2 prior Seiko Kinetics and have had this watch for just 3 days. I've already receiving multiple compliments. The buttons are nicely heavy to push adding to the substantial feeling of the watch. I've worn this to the gym where it works great to time my rests between sets using the chronograph. Because of it's looks I will also be comfortable wearing it to business and formal engagements. I can avoid "loosing" it at the gym by leaving it on in the shower. The alarm is loud enough to wake me up especially if when it is left face down. I love that the alarm dial can be used as a 2nd time zone clock when the alarm is not set. As a private pilot this will be handy to leave set to GMT, Zulu time.
Some Cons:
- The manual is very unclear on how to set the alarm/2nd time zone. I had to search the web for better explanations.
- There is no AM/PM indicator that I have found (even though the manual insists that you should make sure that the time is properly set to AM or PM). Getting the time set so that it will properly advance the date was trial-and-error.
- Only a 12-hour alarm.
- Not Kinetic.
Overall, I am very pleased with the look and operation of this watch.

When the car finally returns, the drunken frat boys inside react badly to Ameera. Luke and Noah defend her and a fight breaks out. Noah is knocked down, but Luke keeps the frat boys from taking Ameera. Lily and Holden show up. Noah ends up in the hospital, asking for Luke. Yaad Aa Raha Hai - Basavalingiah Hiremath/Bappi Lahiri) It all begins with Jimmy as a little boy -- performing on the streets of Bombay along with Rajesh Khanna (in what is billed as a "friendly appearance") -- their guitar and drums entertaining the whole neighborhood. From the distance a rich little girl watches the fun loving pair in envy and one day she invites Jimmy behind her compound wall to make music together. Her father comes home though and whacks the boy across the face, throws Jimmy's mother down on the ground and has Jimmy arrested. Jeered by their neighbors, the mother and son are forced to leave Bombay in shame and settle elsewhere -- but the little boy swears vengeance -- his weapon of choice -- disco. Jump ahead fifteen years into the middle of disco fever and the "I am so cool it must hurt" Sam rules the disco kingdom. The adulation and success have gone to his head though as he pleasures himself with groupies, talks about himself in the third person and yells out in English "Shut up. Sam is great you know. Sam is a music king. Sam is a star". Unfortunately for Sam his salad days are about to end. Frustrated with Sam's egotistical ways, his manager leaves him and goes searching for a new talent. I remember receiving my first Casio watch as a birthday present years ago and although the band on it eventually broke, it survived the toughest of abuse. My first Casio wasn't even a G Shock.
I got this G-Shock Rescue Red watch for Christmas this year and I love the way the red looks. It's eye catching and simply looks tough. It comes with a low-temp LCD in case you wander into much colder environments, electroluminescent display (with auto on feature when tilted), stop watch, countdown timer, tidal, lunar and date tracking. I don't have much use for the tidal/lunar functions, but it's nice to have them. This watch, like my first Casio, has a mute feature that lets you turn off the beeping when going from menu to menu. I never understood why this is important until I took the LSATs, where no beeping mechanisms/electronics are allowed.
As for the amount of abuse this watch can take, it's still too early for me to tell, but I'm pretty sure it'll survive almost anything.
