The Seiko Men's Alarm Chronograph Watch features a large round dial face encircled by an easy-to-read tachymeter, and includes a unique alarm subdial. The timepiece is constructed with a stainless steel case, a stationary stainless steel bezel with gold accents and easy-to-read seconds markers, and a two-tone-stainless-steel link bracelet with a push-button clasp. A curved hardlex window protects the silver-tone dial face, which features striking gold-accented hour markers. The face also includes three gold-accented chronograph subdials including the alarm function, gold-tone watch hands, and a date calendar at the three o'clock position. Powered by quartz movement, the watch is water resistant to 330 feet. It is presented in a luxuriously padded Seiko case.

This is a great watch that feels and looks better than the pictures indicate (the 3rd dimension really helps the look of this watch). I would not have purchased it based on the picture alone. It's large without being too big or heavy. I've had 2 prior Seiko Kinetics and have had this watch for just 3 days. I've already receiving multiple compliments. The buttons are nicely heavy to push adding to the substantial feeling of the watch. I've worn this to the gym where it works great to time my rests between sets using the chronograph. Because of it's looks I will also be comfortable wearing it to business and formal engagements. I can avoid "loosing" it at the gym by leaving it on in the shower. The alarm is loud enough to wake me up especially if when it is left face down. I love that the alarm dial can be used as a 2nd time zone clock when the alarm is not set. As a private pilot this will be handy to leave set to GMT, Zulu time.
Some Cons:
- The manual is very unclear on how to set the alarm/2nd time zone. I had to search the web for better explanations.
- There is no AM/PM indicator that I have found (even though the manual insists that you should make sure that the time is properly set to AM or PM). Getting the time set so that it will properly advance the date was trial-and-error.
- Only a 12-hour alarm.
- Not Kinetic.
Overall, I am very pleased with the look and operation of this watch.
